These terms apply when you use VemCampus (vemcampus.com and its institution campuses). VemCampus is operated by Virtual Minds Hub Enterprise Ltd (registration RC/BDA/2024/A/002), Bamenda, Cameroon. By signing in or joining a course you accept them.
1. Your account
You sign in with your Vem-Portal account; VemCampus has no separate password. Keep your Vem-Portal account to yourself: courses, results and certificates are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
2. Courses
- Each course page states who teaches it, what it covers, how long it takes, its price and whether it leads to a certificate.
- We may correct or improve a course while you take it. If a change removes something you paid for, we will offer you a fair remedy under our refund policy.
- Access to a course lasts for the period shown on its page.
3. Course content and licences
- Open courseware made by VemCampus is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0), with credit to the authors whose work it uses.
- Other courses belong to their instructors or institutions. You may use them for your own learning, but not copy or republish them unless their licence allows it.
- What you post (discussion posts, comments, submissions) stays yours. You allow us to display it in the course and to keep it as part of your learning record.
4. Instructors and institutions
- Instructors confirm they have the right to publish everything in their courses, and that their courses meet the VemCampus course standard before publication.
- An institution with a campus on VemCampus decides who its members are, through Vem-Portal, and is responsible for how it uses its members’ progress information.
- Terms for instructor earnings and for institution campuses are agreed separately.
5. How we expect you to behave
- Be respectful in discussions and messages. No harassment, hate, spam or advertising.
- Submit your own work. Use AI tools only as each course allows, and say when you have used them.
- Do not try to get round assessments, access other people’s accounts or disrupt the service.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
6. Assessments and certificates
A certificate confirms that you completed a course and met its requirements. We may withdraw a certificate obtained by cheating or by someone else’s work. Anyone you share a certificate’s link with can check that it is genuine.
7. Prices and payment
VemCampus does not take payments yet. When paid courses open, the price will be shown in francs CFA before you buy, and our refund policy will apply.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep VemCampus available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from your use of VemCampus. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
We will publish any change to these terms on this page and update the date at the top. Changes that affect courses you have already paid for will not apply to them without your agreement.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Cameroon, and disputes are subject to its courts. Questions: mail@virtualmindshub.com.
